The GCCM regularly holds virtual meetings of the South America regional group. The first meeting was held in August 2021. The objective of these meetings is to create synergies, highlight opportunities and project updates and provide knowledge for botanical gardens, botanical and research institutions in the region engaged in the conservation of Magnolias. The meetings are held with interpretation in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
