As a part of the Global Conservation Gap Analysis of Magnolia profiles were created for select species for which spatial analysis of ex situ collections could be conducted. These profiles include detailed information on species vulnerability, threats to wild populations, ex situ conservation status, on-going conservation action and recommended priorities for future conservation of these threatened species.
South & Southeast Asian species profiled include: Magnolia rajaniana and Magnolia sapaensis.
